This is the kids play set. Occasionally, they swing on it. But almost every day is gets disassembled and re-assembled into new creations. Right now it's some kind of "water factory."
Two girls in purple.
Here is the fruit of two days of labor. This long, narrow bed is filled with lilies, mostly orange with some yellow, and white with red. We also took this holly bush from the front bed, where it was too crowded, and moved it here. We did some other things in the yard like adding some top soil, putting up a bird house, and general "cleaning up." Notice all the rocks lining the bed. These are the ones the kids dug up. It's kind of neat that the rocks are a part of the final product.

This is the island bed that we put in the front yard last summer. This is a back view - what we see from inside the house. We want to put a large, decorative rock on the left side to block the view of the utility thingies. In here we have an azalea bush (dark pink), tulips, daffodils, hostas, lilies, crocus, and 4 old iris bulbs that I found in another part of the yard. The tree is a dogwood. We'll take a picture when it is in bloom.
This is the house beside us all done. It sold last week. We haven't met the new owner yet.

I could weep as I read your posts about spring and yard work. Our spring is at least 6 weeks away. But thanks for the early glimpse. I can almost smell spring in my imagination now.
Your flower beds look great! And Abby is getting so big! What a cutie pie.
Spring will come!! :)
